Well, here we have it, our very own blog on our very own website. Incredible, as has been the pace of Warwicktweetup so has been the progress on this site build! I was wondering after a few tweets from guest to the tweetup, just how hard it could be to set up a simple website for Warwicktweetup. I was thinking about it so much that I thought, ah heck, if you don't ask you don't get....or tweet as it was in this case!
So I did, I tweeted Guy Eastwood @Surefyre and simply asked..."how hard would it be to set up a simple website for the tweetup?"
His reply(within 10 minutes!!)
"not that hard, done.LOL"
Incredible, within minutes warwicktweetup.co.uk as we now know it was born and was slowly growing like a green shoot off the branch and the Surefyre.com tree. Well look at it now! Picture uploads, members profile and amazing design from Annette Taylor, I was even asked what I wanted from the site, how it should look and what it should have. I couldn't have dreamt better. Warwicktweetup.co.uk is beyond anything I could have wished for in the timescale and is now key to the hopeful future of Warwicktweetup.
So what next?
Well there are already plans for an official page for photography, at present the gallery is open to all members, once they are approved of course. Links to members website are already on profiles and info also was added over the weekend, it seems with the web team involved, the sky's the limit! Which is good, because Christie and I can be quite demanding.
Wonderful work Guy and Annette. We're tickled pink (with a hint of twitter blue) at the fruits of your labour...see you at the Bar at Lanes for some well deserved beverages!
